Peaky Blinders 6 might reveal David Beckham as new cast member

Peaky Blinders’ lead cast member Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby) has hinted the possibility of David Beckham joining the cast for the upcoming season.

Anderson took to Instagram to tease the fans with this cryptic caption:

The actor also tagged director Guy Ritchie and actress Bella Thorne who is rumoured to be in the new season which has led fans to believe that Beckham could possibly be doing a cameo as well.

The former Manchester United player has previously admitted that him and his son are huge Peaky Blinders fans and that his son Brooklyn Beckham enjoys dressing like the cast. Beckham also made a visit to sets of season five of the series and was shown around by creator Steven Knight:

The official description of Peaky Blinders reads as follows:

A notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham, England, is led by the fierce Tommy Shelby, a crime boss set on moving up in the world no matter the cost.

It was earlier announced that the show has gone into pre-production for its next season. However, just like other Netflix productions, this BBC drama also had to put things on hold due to COVID-19.

Despite a halt in productions, Netflix has been releasing new content in the recent days including the thrilling Bulbbul and Lenox Hill.
