Peaky Blinders season 6 goes into pre-production

BBC One’s Peaky Blinders has started pre-production for season 6. Aside from the UK, latest seasons of the show are available exclusively on Netflix worldwide.

The announcement for pre-production was made by the director of the show Anthony Byrne on his Instagram:

As per the script reveal, we definitely know that the new season’s first episode will be interestingly titled “Black Day”.

Peaky Blinders received lots of fan love and appreciation for its first five seasons.

(SPOILER ALERT) The last season left fans with a mind-boggling cliffhanger as to why Tommy’s sniper couldn’t take the shot.

The show’s much-loved actor Cillian Murphy, who plays the badass Shelby family leader Tommy Shelby, has been nominated for Best Performance at the National Television Awards (NTAs). Likewise, the series itself has been nominated for Best Show by the same award-giving body.

Byrne took to Instagram to ask audiences to vote for both categories:

As per the rumours, the new season should be out by 2021 but nothing has been confirmed yet. Till then, fans can catch season five which is now streaming on Netflix.
