Filming begins for Russo Brothers’ ‘The Gray Man’

Joe and Anthony Russo have kickstarted the filming of the first film from their next franchise ‘The Gray Man’.

Known for MCU movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame; the director duo’s franchise is said to be Netflix’s most expensive endeavour to date.

The franchise will centre around Ryan Gosling, (La La Land). The Gray Man will also feature Chris Evans (Captain America) in a pivotal role.

The movie will also star Indian actor Dhanush (Raanjhanaa) alongside Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Ana de Armas, Julia Butters, Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, and Callan Mulvey.

The Gray Man is said to be Netflix’s most expensive movie with a production budget of more than $200 million.

The story revolves around 2 CIA operatives, played by Gosling and Evans. It is an adaptation of Mark Greaney’s book by the same name.

Stephen F. Windon, who has worked for 6 Fast & Furious movies, will work as a cinematographer on the project. The script has been originally written by Joe Russo along with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who have also worked for Marvel’s Endgame.
