David Beckham in talks with Netflix and Prime Video for film on his life

Former footballer and icon David Beckham is in talks with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to create a film based on his life, as per reports.

The ex-England captain was inspired by Michael Jordan’s Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’, which follows the Chicago Bulls as they go for their sixth NBA title in eight years.

An insider told The Sun: “It’s something David is excited about and has wanted to do for a while. The film will feature new content and archive footage.

“It’s going to be about David’s life post-football, especially the creation of his new team in Miami, but will have some personal content too.”

“Interest in his life and family is huge. Everyone has high hopes for this.”

Fans will be eagerly waiting to see Beckham on their screens. However, this could come earlier through a surprise cameo in Peaky Blinders season 6.

Main cast member Paul Anderson recently posted on Instagram with a cryptic caption:

Tagging Beckham in the post has many fans believing an appearance is on the cards.
