Tasneem: AlRawabi School for Girls season 2 character explained

In AlRawabi School for Girls, Tasneem is the girl Sarah admires and looks up to. Sarah Yousef plays Tasneem.

Tasneem is AlRawabi School of Girls’ beauty queen. She is popular, well-liked, intelligent, and at the top of her class.

At least these are the qualities of Tasneem that Sarah takes note of, as she intends to be like Tasneem someday.

Nadeen, who once was friends with Tasneem, sees through Tasneem, who gets things done by pretending to be nice to people.

Tasneem’s nature

Tasneem is a selfish individual who, as Farah states, thinks that she is at the center of the globe and that everyone’s lives revolve around her.

She is friends with people as long as they serve her interests. If they don’t, she doesn’t care about them. She even treats her cousin, Farah, as if she is a moron.

However, throughout the second season, it can be seen that Tasneem is not all bad. Even when she is friends with Sarah just because of Sarah’s popularity, she tries her best to make her comfortable.

Tasneem realizes her mistakes

After the scandal involving Sarah, it’s Farah who makes Tasneem realize how her behavior hurts people and how she has abandoned Sarah at a time when she needs her the most.

Tasneem’s secret

Tasneem is mischievous, but she makes sure to keep her record clean because she intends to go to a good university.

More importantly, she is afraid of her mother, whom she describes as bossy. Tasneem’s mother has a lot of expectations from her daughter; she doesn’t want people to think that she is just a pretty face.

The pressure of being perfect triggers Tasneem’s eating disorder, which she hides from her friends and family.

She eventually gathers the courage to stand up to her mother and tell her that she can never be perfect. Tasneem then finds solace in reconciling with her old friend Nadeen.

Later, she confesses her problems to her mother too, who comforts her with open arms.
