Tiki-Taka: Parambrata Chattopadhyay’s new film for ZEE5

ZEE5 has announced a new movie titled, Tiki-Taka which will star and be directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay.

The name has been inspired by a specific style of play in football which is apt as the plot focuses on Raju (Chattopadhyay) whose escapades with a Senegalese football player, Khelechi (Emona Enabulu) leads to hilarious consequences.

Khelechi’s character arrives in India with a football filled with drugs. He needs money to save his dying mother back in Senegal but a case of mistaken identity puts hindrance in his plans and Raju accidentally comes into the picture.

Chattopadhyay, who is known for films like Kahaani and Bulbbul, said in a statement:

“This film a situational light-hearted comedy filled with errors and humour that make it a perfect weekend watch with family or friends. In the times that we are currently living in, I feel that now, more than ever, the world could use a laugh. I hope people shower the film with the love and kindness it deserves.”

The movie also stars Ritabhari Chakraborty as Bonnie and Saswata Chatterjee as PK. It has been written by Rohan Ghose and Shouvik Banerjee.
