New web series titled ‘The Finish Line’ is set to depict the various defining moments in Indian sports.

The web series will relive eight different moments, including Abhinav Bindra’s Olympic Gold medal win in 2008, Parul Parmar’s para badminton World Championship triumph, Leander Paes’ Bronze medal at 1996 Olympics and Dinesh Karthik’s decisive performance in 2018 Nidahars Trophy.

Produced by sports marketing firm Baseline Ventures, The Finish Line can be streamed on YouTube, Facebook and IGTV starting August 28. The eight-part web series will release a new episode each week.

Asian Gold medallist squash player Saurav Ghosal will serve as the host. He said in a statement:

“It is an absolute pleasure for me to host a show which gives me an opportunity to have candid conversations with some of the stalwarts of Indian sports.

“Each one of them has made the nation immensely proud by their deeds and now it is time for the nation to hear their story and take pride in it. I can’t wait for the series to kick-start as my first guest will be none other than Abhinav Bindra who is not only an Olympic Gold recipient but also one of the most inspiring personalities I have ever come across”.
