Netflix reveals cast for ‘The School for Good and Evil’

Netflix has announced the cast for its fantasy film, ‘The School for Good and Evil’. The project has finished filming and will be released in 2022.

‘The School for Good and Evil’ is based on the bestselling fantasy series of author Soman Chainani. The film has been directed by acclaimed comedic director Paul Feig, who is famous for directing several episodes for television series like ‘The Office’, ‘Parks and Recreation’, among many others.

The film will follow 2 best friends, Sophie and Agatha, and their attempt to return home after being kidnapped to The School for Good and Evil.

Sophia Anne Caruso will be portraying the role of Sophie whereas Sofia Wylie will be playing Agatha. Apart from them the film will also feature veteran actors Charlize Theron as Lady Lesso and Kerry Washington as Professor Dovey. Other members of the cast include Michelle Yeoh as Professor Anemone, Laurence Fishburne as The Schoolmaster, Kit Young as Rafal, Earl Cave as Hort, and Jamie Flatters as Tedros.

It has been produced by Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Jane Startz, Laura Fischer, and Paul Feig.
