‘Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me’ acquired by Apple TV+

The rights for the documentary feature film ‘Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me’, based on the singer, songwriter, actress, producer, entrepreneur and activist, have been acquired by Apple TV+.

The official synopsis reads:

“After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”

The documentary has been directed by Alek Keshishian, known for helming the acclaimed film ‘Madonna: Truth or Dare’.

Lighthouse Management + Media and Interscope Films co-produce alongside Apple, after collaborating for ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry’.

Gomez is an extremely popular artist. She has sold over 210 million singles across the world and her music has over 45 billion global streams.

As an actor, she burst onto the scene with Disney’s ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, where she played Alex Russo.

She plays Mabel Mora in Hulu’s recent murder-mystery comedy show ‘Only Murders in the Building, which recently bagged three Emmy Awards.
