Other details

The show is based on the eponymous fantasy novel series by American author Rick Riordan. The first season will adapt the first book, ‘The Lightning Thief’.

The first two books were earlier adapted into live-action films by 20th Century Fox and were negatively received by the audience owing to their stark differences from the source material.

We hear Percy Jackson’s voice as he warns the viewers about the dangers of being a Half-Blood (half mortal, half god). He then walks into the Poseidon cabin at Camp Half-Blood as we see other campers watching him before the screen cuts to black.
