Netflix’s original investigative journalism series Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj has come to an end. The show’s creator and host Hasan Minhaj took to his official social media handles to make the announcement.
Patriot Act ran for six cycles with 39 episodes in total.
The latest season of the popular web series tackled several difficult issues that have troubled the world in the past few months such as George Floyd’s death, upcoming elections in the USA and the impact of Coronavirus.
Through its six cycles, the show has also won notable awards including an Emmy for Outstanding Motion Design and a Peabody Award.
Prashanth Venkataramanujam co-created the show along with Minhaj and served as the show-runner for the much-loved series.
The cancellation of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj was confirmed by Netflix.
