Elephant follows the 1000 mile journey of a family of elephants across Africa “on an adventure that will change their lives”.

Walt Disney Studios released the trailer for Elephant along with the trailer for Dolphin Reef – that helps in understanding the balance in an “underwater wonderland” where creatures live “to thrive in an unpredictable environment”.

The movie will bring out the hardships faced by pachyderm Shani and her son Jomo along with Gaia (the matriarch of the family), as they make their way through the Kalahari Desert.

While Markle will narrate Elephant, Black Swan‘s Natalie Portman will provide her voice for Dolphin Reef.

All proceeds collected from the film will be donated to the charity, Elephants Without Borders – a group created by conservationists to help in protecting elephants against poachers.

The Duchess who is best known for her portrayal of Rachel Zane in the popular TV series Suits, will be debuting in the digital world with this original. Markle recorded the voiceover for the movie right before leaving for Canada.

The Duchess and Prince Harry announced earlier this year that they will be giving up all Royal duties and their HRH titles. While the initial plans suggested for them to settle down in Canada, the couple along with their son have reportedly now moved to Los Angeles, California.

However, both Prince Harry and Markle have been a part of their ABC documentary – Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

Both movies are set to stream on April 3, 2020.
