Netflix has recently scored the global distribution rights for Katrina Kaif superhero starrer directed by Ali Abbas Zafar (Sultan).
According to few reports, the film was previously being produced by Ronnie Screwvala, but now Netflix is leading the bandwagon.
It is to be believed that Zafar is done with working the script and the shooting will begin post coronavirus lockdown. Zafar is attempting to take the film international and Kaif’s global following is sure to feed to his plans.
Zafar and Kaif have previously worked together for films such as Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
Netflix has also recently announced associations with major names recently. The streaming giant is all set to release Betaal. The thriller is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Both Khan and Netflix have collaborated before for Bard of Blood as well.
