‘Invincible’ season 2 to stream on Prime Video in 2023

In a recent interview, the Head of Television at Amazon Studios, Vernon Sanders, confirmed that the animated superhero series ‘Invincible will return next year. The reveal came during his conversation with Collider.

The show follows Mark Grayson, a teenage boy who is also the son of the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni Man. When he starts developing his own powers, he starts unfurling sinister secrets about his father, eventually forcing them to face off.

‘Invincible’ is based on the eponymous Image Comics series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The 8-episode first season premiered in March 2021 and was met with outstanding reviews.

It currently holds a 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. An exact premiere date for season 2 has not been confirmed.
