Cobra Kai is an American martial art comedy-drama television series. A sequel to the first The Karate Kid movies, it follows middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence as they rekindle their rivalry in martial arts.

Synopsis

“Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Season 5 finds Terry Silver expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.”

The series has a large viewership on both Netflix and YouTube and has won praise from critics. It has received eight Primetime Emmy nominations. The series was renewed for a fifth season even before the fourth season’s premiere.

Cobra Kai is now under Terry Silver’s leadership, and he is expanding it by bringing new senseis. After the competition, the students are at each other’s throats and Daniel has shut down Miyagi-Do. Former adversaries Johnny, Chozen, and Daniel are putting their differences behind them and joining forces to take on Terry Silver.
