Plot summary:
Jimena works for her father, Ernesto, at his financial agency and because of this, she requires a nanny to care for her three children, Santiago, Sofia, and Leo.
The children are quite unruly and none of the nannies stay on for too long because they cannot handle the pressure.
Gabriel shows up one day and convinces Jimena that he is the right person for the job.
Jimena is competing with her cousin, Rogelio, to be the next president of the company but she is at a disadvantage because Ernesto treats her differently for being a woman.
Gaby and Sofi help Santi woo an older girl from school, but Sofi is certain that she isn’t right for him.
Leo has his first loose tooth and Gaby helps him brave the pain until it comes out on its own.
At the firm, Rogelio and Ernesto are looking to seize some farms that are behind on their payments, but one of the ranch owners is pushing back.
Gaby is actually the son of the ranch owner, and he gets a job at Jimena’s house to find out who is trying to seize his father’s farm.
While Gaby grows closer to Jimena and her family, he also nudges her in the right direction as she investigates the situation with the farm.
Jimena’s partner, Joaquin shows up after breaking up with his girlfriend and he attempts to restart things with Jimena.
However, after giving it a try, she tells him that it just isn’t working out and they should get a divorce.
Sofi takes the news the hardest and she does her best to get her parents back together but Jimena and Joaquin explain to everyone that they are better off separated.
Jimena, Gaby, and Jimena’s best friend and colleague, Brenda, discover that Rogelio is working with the town mayor to cheat the ranch owners.
Rogelio uses the ranch as payment so that the mayor will help Ernesto’s campaign to become a politician.
However, Rogelio doesn’t tell Ernesto about the shady deals he is making with the company’s name.
Gaby helps the kids realize their true potential with his positive attitude, and even Jimena is eventually smitten by him.
The two of them fall in love with each other, but Jimena finds out that Gaby has been hiding who he is and she feels betrayed.

What does Jimena do about the ranch?
Jimena tells her father that she is certain Rogelio is doing something dirty to seize the ranches from their owners and she needs time to prove it.
He gives her two days and she visits Gaby’s father at their ranch. He tells her that he sent Gaby away because he made some bad decisions but he doesn’t know what he’s doing now.
Jimena tells Gaby’s father that she is aware of foul play and will do everything she can to help them keep their farm.
How does Gaby spend the day?
Gaby accompanies Leo to a birthday party where all of the mothers are enamored by his good looks.
Gaby remains professional and tries to contact Jimena but she gives him the shoulder after finding out his truth.
Leo is excited about the party and he gets along well with the birthday girl and all of the other children there.
When it is his turn to swing at the pinata, he swings wildly and is made fun of until he lands a hit that lets out all of the candy.
Leo and Gaby return from the party as triumphant heroes, and Leo shares his candy with his siblings.
Santi makes a toast in honor of Gaby, and Gaby says that he’s just glad to have met them and been a part of their lives.
What happens between Jimena and Gaby?
Jimena and Brenda have to spend the night at Gaby’s ranch because of a road closure, and she video calls Gaby to have a conversation.
She is conflicted about her feelings and goes to sleep in tears. The next morning, the police show up to seize the farm.
Jimena rushes back to the office to confront her father, and Gaby’s sister calls him to say that their father has landed in the hospital due to stress.
Jimena tells her father that Rogelio is tarnishing Ernesto’s name with his methods, and he needs to do the right thing.
Ernesto decides that Jimena will be the next president, but when they try to call Rogelio, he doesn’t answer because he’s busy leaving the office.
Jimena and Gaby meet at her house and tell each other that they’re in love, but Gaby has to go back home to take care of his father.
When he gets back, his sister says that they got the farm back thanks to Jimena’s efforts. Jimena is heartbroken because Gaby left, and she doesn’t know how to deal with the grief.
