Plot summary

Fernandinho is an ex-soccer player way past his glory days. He hosts an online show of his own with his friends, where he also answers questions from his fans.

To this day, people still ask him about an easy goal he missed at the championship final that cost them the final match. The question hurts Fernandinho, who always tries to defend himself.

Apart from that, Fernandinho is also not in touch with his family. Things only get worse when his brother-in-law, Gregório, also known as Greg, shows up on his door after being missing for five long years.

Greg is kind, manly, adventurous, and handsome, and he easily connects with Fernandinho’s daughters and his friends, which makes Fernandinho jealous of him.

Greg crashes at Fernandinho’s. Throughout Greg’s stay, apart from how charming he is, Fernandinho also notices a few strange aspects about him.

Greg doesn’t like being photographed, he doesn’t come out during the day, and spends nights outside.

Fernandinho has already been wondering if Greg is into some shady business. It’s when he finds the ID of a girl, whom he saw in the news, in Greg’s room that his suspicions turn into worry.

As per the news, this girl has been showing symptoms of lethargy and anemia and has been suffering from low blood volume.

That night, Fernandinho also fights a bat, and moments later, his brother-in-law shows up. Fernandinho is convinced that Greg is a vampire.

However, nobody except Ameba, his assistant, who claims that he is also a vampire expert, believes in him.

Fernandinho’s firstborn, Carol, who is from his ex-wife, also begins suspecting Greg when something stops her from drawing his sketch.

She sneaks into his room, learns that he wears a skin to join the family in the daytime, and watches him sleep in a coffin.

Carol comes to understand that her father is not crazy and joins hands with Fernandinho and Ameba. Before they can make a move, Greg moves out of the house.

Fernandinho is glad, but his daughter doesn’t think they should just let a vampire walk free. Carol calls her father a coward for always taking the easy way out.

Fernandinho only realizes that Carol is right when he finds out that his friends, as well as his ex-wife, have turned into vampires. Greg is spreading this virus everywhere.

Carol hears from Greg that they are going to have a ball at her mother’s. Carol thinks it will be a ball with vampires.

Fernandinho, Carol, and Ameba do their research and learn that Ullah Drax, a powerful Romanian businessman, is in Brazil. Everyone suspects that he is the real Count Dracula. He is probably the reason why Greg is holding a ball.

If Fernandinho kills Ullah Drax, everyone goes back to normal. The group plans to infiltrate the ball as vampires and kill Drax.

Ameba buys a vampire slaying kit from the internet and gets it blessed. Now they can surely assassinate Ullah Drax.

Ending explained:

Fernandinho’s family gets involved

Fernandinho, Carol, and Ameba attend the vampire ball dressed as vampires. They finally see Ullah Drax, who has a gift for Greg.

Since Greg can’t bring himself to transform his sister and niece, he will be the one making sure that they join him for eternal life.

Hence, Fernandinho’s wife, Vanessa, and his youngest daughter, Monica, are here. Fernandinho hits Drax with an arrow once Carol gets Vanessa and Monica to safety.

Unfortunately, the attack doesn’t work. Neither Drax dies, nor does his army.

Using Monica’s blood

Fernandinho, his family, and Ameba find themselves on the run. Their weapons aren’t working because they must be blessed by a priest of a Roman Catholic Apostolic church. Getting them blessed from any other church doesn’t work.

The family has another option. The weapons can be anointed with the blood of a virgin girl. Monica, Fernandinho and Vanessa’s daughter, is a virgin.

Her blood is used on weapons. It works, and Fernandinho and his family can now burn the vampires into ash.

Defeating Ullah Drax

When Fernandinho is left with no weapon in his hands, it’s his Vasco sports club t-shirt that has a cross on it that helps him.

Ullah Drax reveals that it’s not the cross that they are afraid of. It’s the faith people have in that cross that scares them.

However, faith is not enough for Fernandinho to defeat Ullah Drax, who turns into a big bat and attacks Fernandinho.

It’s morning. Ameba throws Fernandinho’s favorite soccer ball, signed by Pelé, at him. Fernandinho kicks it to break the window glass.

The sunshine falls upon Ullah Drax, who turns into ashes. With that, humans who had transformed into vampires go back to being normal.

Fernandinho not only redeems the goal he missed, but he also wins his family’s hearts as their hero. Fernandinho and his family celebrate.

Another guest

Fernandinho’s name is cleared on his show. He was accused of throwing away a championship match, but Zico assures him that he is not a traitor.

Carol and Ameba, who were once dating, are now back together again after this experience.

While the family is getting ready for dinner, someone rings the doorbell.

It’s Fernandinho’s father-in-law, hoping to crash at his house. The full moon and Fernandinho’s father-in-law’s reaction to it suggest that he is a werewolf.
