Ending explained:

The secrets of the Royal Delhi Club

The Royal Delhi Club is rife with socialites who all pretend to be elites and yet a socio-political and cultural rot festers among them and inside them all.

They all carry dirty secrets or secrets they are ashamed of.

Leo Matthews, the lecherous gym trainer at the club, gets to learn about the secrets of many club members.

Shehnaz’s secret son

He knows that the new club presidential candidate, actress Shehnaz Noorani has a son in Shepherd’s Home Orphanage, the same institution he grew up at.

He has the photographs of her son, whose identity she still doesn’t know, and has been donating to the orphanage because she does know her son was placed there.

He blackmails her with those photographs and wants her to accept her son in front of everyone or else he’ll reveal the truth to her daughters.

A Raja in rags & a junkie

Rannvijay Singh is a descendant of a royal family of Achingadh, but his real living conditions are in tatters, as he essentially sells everyone a lie that he keeps within his dilapidated mansion.

He also has a secret homosexual relationship with one of the club’s gym trainers Thinsuk. Leo blackmails him with all these secrets.

Roshni and her son Yash have a dirty secret as well. Roshni is called a gold-digger, among other nicknames, by the club members; but her son Yash is a junkie and failed to gain sobriety even after a rehab in Uttarakhand.

Yash receives an internship in Boston but Leo threatens to show evidence of his addiction to his employers unless Roshni pays up.

Cookie’s crooked sculptures

Cookie is another one of the club members who tries to appear as if she has the perfect life with a husband who sexually satisfies her, but in reality, he’s too old to walk properly without a walker.

She is very obsessed with losing weight and getting in shape while having little to no empathy for those she deems lower in class than her, much like other club members.

She’s a sexually repressed woman who creates unseemly busts that all the other club members dump in the storage room after getting gifted.

Bambi the killer

Three years ago, Bambi killed her husband Anshul, whom she didn’t love but she loved the idea of a perfect marriage that she could flaunt to the other club members.

The club has been her life so she didn’t care that Anshul loved their maid Ganga, but divorce is what she couldn’t stand, so she killed him in a fit of rage.

By chance, a bus taking Anshul and his friends to the mountains fell into a gorge, which he never boarded but when the corpses of his friends were never found, it was believed that Anshul died along with them.

With the help of the club’s gardener Guppie Ram, she got his corpse buried in the club’s garden itself.

After Guppie unwittingly confesses this to Leo during a drinking session, Bambi another one of the elites in Murder Mubarak starts getting blackmailed by Leo.

Bambi the conspirer

Bambi is the mastermind and the killer in Murder Mubarak. After having tasted what it felt like to kill someone, it only got easier for her.

She killed Leo by mixing a highly potent drug called Pinko Hathini in his protein shake.

The drug is an opiate and renders the user’s muscles jelly-like and their bones rubber-like.

They can’t so much as lift a cup, much less a barbell, which when Leo went to lift, fell on his windpipe and fatally fractured his neck.

She changed the bottle of protein shake and obscured the views of the CCTV cameras with balloons before the police arrived.

She tried to frame her and her life-long lover Akash’s mutual friend Yash. She does it by planting Pinko tablets in his drawer but before the police search his place, he has already cleared them out.

She then manipulated and guilted the dementia-suffering Guppie Ram into killing himself, making him think he killed his beloved pet Harry; and that if he didn’t take his life, his daughter-like would be sentenced to death.

He takes his life with Rannvijay’s flare gun that she plants near him. She then drugs Yash and tries to make it look like he is the killer.

He falls into a coma and Bhavani Singh cracks the case, as Murder Mubarak reaches its conclusion.

The confession

ACP Bhavani Singh gathers all the suspects and other faces from the club in the storage room and makes his final revelation.

He purposefully paints Akash as a killer, who he says killed Anshul on the night of his anniversary, and then buried his body with the help of Guppie.

Bhavani knows he didn’t do it but he does this to eke out the confession from Bambi, who he knows loves Akash too much to have him suffer for her crimes.

As the police are taking out Akash, Bambi stops them and finally comes clean about her murders.

She goes to jail, knowing well that her lover Akash will continue to visit her and also probably take up her case.

Bhavani bids Akash farewell and tells him not to take up Bambi’s case before Murder Mubarak rolls the credits.
