Heitor Hirsh: Bionic character explained

Heitor Hirsh is the primary antagonist of Bionic who uses Maria Santos for his gain. Bruno Gagliasso plays the character.

Heitor Hirsh and his brother Atila rob the bank but Atila doesn’t make it so Heitor needs a new bionic soldier to complete his plans.

His cause appears noble as he speaks of supporting regular athletes who fell by the wayside after the bionic revolution.

However, he is unafraid of breaking society’s rules to accomplish his goals. When Gus volunteers for the cause, he also suggests Maria’s name.

Ulterior motives

Maria is charmed by Heitor partly because she yearns to compete at her sister’s level. She does not expect the lengths that Heitor will go to though.

When he kills the guard who saw her face, she is aghast. He defends his decision and brushes off any concerns that she has.

He still has Gus’s loyalty and uses that to get Maria to comply. He is forceful with her and begins to show his true colors.

Ricardo is beaten up and Gabi is kidnapped while Gus drugs Maria. He is calculating too, as he sends Gus to meet with Maria after the job.

Heitor claimed that the stolen NIMs were going to regular athletes, but he planned to sell them for a payday and showed no remorse when he was found out.

He ultimately gets beaten down by Maria and his head is crushed under her bionic leg.
