Han Yu-Ri is one of the major supporting characters in Wonderful World. Lim Se-Mi plays the character in the show.
Apart from her mother and husband, Eun Soo-Hyun has always been supported by Han Yu-Ri, someone Soo-Hyun and her mother took in when she was a young orphan.
A sworn sister
Yu-Ri is like a biological sister to Soo-Hyun and like a biological daughter to Go-Eun as well. She has always been very grateful to the two for taking her in and treating her with love and affection.
She used to work as Soo-Hyun’s manager when she was still a happy woman, celebrated by many as a successful psychology professor and an author.
Yu-Ri kept track of each and every meeting, event, and arrangement Soo-Hyun had to attend but she always remained concerned about her schedule, often encouraging her to take it easy.
A reliable shoulder
She would also stick to Soo-Hyun all the time everywhere, and she was really good at her job. Soo-Hyun has always seen her as her sister as well and always remembered to pamper her with gifts.
When Soo-Hyun suffers from one of her harshest challenges in life yet, she lends her shoulder to Soo-Hyun and is there for her at every turn.
When Soo-Hyun goes to prison for killing the man who killed her son, Han Yu-Ri takes care of her mother Go-Eun. When Soo-Hyun thanks her for it, she reminds her how they’re her family.
She visits Soo-Hyun from time to time in prison and is upset at her when she tells her that she’s breaking all ties with Kang Su-Ho.
Success & secrets
That’s around the time that an unfortunate turn of events involves Han Yu-Ri, and she holds that as a secret from Soo-Hyun, as she carries guilt over it and seems to fear divulging the secret.
After Soo-Hyun gets out of prison, Yu-Ri welcomes her with all her heart. She loves her the same way still but she harbors a secret that she can’t bring herself to reveal to Soo-Hyun.
Han Yu-Ri has also become really successful in the meantime. She now is the CEO of Select Shop in Cheongdam.
