Plot summary

Panca is fired from his own company.

He then uses almost all of his savings on Comedy Chaos, a club he buys from an old friend after visiting it once and eventually realizing it’s his calling.

He doesn’t tell his wife Loli about it because he didn’t take her permission, and she initially thinks he might be cheating on her.

However, she eventually finds out the truth and supports him as long as he’s sure of what he’s doing.

Back at the club, they invite a YouTuber to review their club but he doesn’t take well to the comedic roasts and pans the club on his YouTube channel.

The next idea is to invite a famous comedian to perform at the club, and Panca decides Dodit, who is both famous and funny.

He learns about him from his wife who wants to meet him for the donations for the school reunion she and her friends are holding.

However, a faulty mic triggers Dodit’s condition and he ends up pooping his pants.

Loli tries to be Instagram famous with her besties but the glossy cake she baked ends up being the highlight.

It goes viral just as Panca and his crew at Comedy Chaos are trying to come up with a viral food item they can sell to boost attendance.

They end up on Glossy cake but when they unveil the cakes, a giant mouse that Wita ended up unleashing at the club inadvertently, ruins it all.

TV show producer Bima visits the club to confirm if the negative reviews are valid.

Feeling insulted by the roasts, he confirms them all to be true, dealing another blow to the club.

Later, Panca agrees to throw a roast of a mystery guest, Rich Irwin, who is actually a ruthless mafioso.

He finds it out in time and saves the situation from getting out of hand, ruining Rick Irwin’s son, Sultan’s plans.

Sultan cooks up a plan to get back at Panca; he lies to his father about Pance needing a loan.

Rich Irwin agrees and Panca realizes the money he received is a loan quite late.

To save Comedy Chaos, he needs to become a debt collector while a whole lot of chaos goes down at his home.

All this while, Loli’s suspicions and fears regarding her husband hit a peak and she leaves the house to go live with her friend.

Panca hosts a comedy festival and a combined last-ditch effort by him and his staff helps the club stay afloat.

His marriage is saved as well, as he and Loli reunite and reconcile. However, Sultan returns with more problems as the Comedy Chaos rolls the credits on its first season.

Ending explained:

The chaotic club

After Panca is fired from the startup he owned and founded, he ends up buying a dwindling comedy club from his friend Marlo.

He buys it after visiting once and seeing the laughs on the faces of the audience members. He thinks it’s his next calling.

However, running a comedy club is hard, and soon Panca has to contend with the rapidly depleting funds that he siphoned from his savings.

Sultan & Rich Irwin

Sultan is a bratty son of a ruthless mafioso, Rich Irwin, who is constantly disappointed in his son.

This makes Sultan hate him and he decides to humiliate his father by having him attend Panca’s club and be roasted by the comedian.

Panca thinks Rich Irwin wants to be roasted brutally as his son Sultan told him. However, that’s not true, and by the time he realizes that it’s almost too late.

The chance arrival of Panca’s wife, who brings a cake for her husband, helps Panca ideate a way out of the mess.

He gives the cake to Rich Irwin, who thinks this is all just a prank on him. He’s delighted and gives Panca a handsome pay.

However, it’s not enough for the club which continues to dwindle, as all of the employees’ and Panca’s strategies fail.

The accidental debt

Meanwhile, Sultan lies to his father that Panca needs a loan from him and that he’ll return it with 50% monthly interest.

When Panca realizes what the misunderstanding is, the funds have already been burned on a promotional car.

Rich Irwin gives him a way out, though, which is to work as a debt collector once, which Panca somehow manages to do successfully.

Then Rich Irwin tells him that Panca needs to hand over his comedy club to eliminate the debt. Panca asks for some time.

Saving Comedy Chaos

He needs to do one last thing and it is to host a comedy festival.

The festival is a success and Rich Irwin has a great time as he dies laughing, due to his heart condition.

With his passing, Comedy Chaos remains with Panca. He distributes the money collected from the comedy festival between the staff.

Soon, though, Sultan returns to open a comedy club of his own, just adjacent to Panca’s, because he wants to make his father proud by making a club funnier than Panca’s.

Saving the marriage

Panca and his wife Loli love each other a lot. However, their financial troubles after Panca is fired from his own startup begin to shake their marriage.

She worries about their money, as Panca uses the money from their savings, which is supposed to be for the future of their child(ren).

He buys a comedy club and naturally a business he’s never tried before and something he doesn’t know anything about concerns Loli.

She even tries working herself to help improve their situation.

However, it doesn’t do much, while Panca’s refusal to be totally honest about the struggles leads to a lot of miscommunication, which in turn sows discord between them.

The lies and her friends make Loli decide to take a break from him for some time. Panca does save Comedy Chaos and apologizes to her for not being honest.

Loli also apologizes for not being supportive enough and the two reconcile and get back together, as the first season concludes.
