Akira Sato: The Fable character explained

The Fable follows Akira Sato, the newly adopted identity of the titular legendary assassin. After six years of several hit jobs, he faces his greatest challenge when he’s ordered to lie low for a year without any killing or troubling incidents.

Akira Sato is the new name of the assassin known in the criminal underworld by his legendary title of Fable. He has trained all his life to become the world’s finest assassin.

Six years into the profession and a total of 71 hits later, he is feared by the Yakuza, businessmen, politicians, and monsters alike.

Fable loves the comedian Jackal Tomioka, who tickles him more than anything and he’s left gasping for breaths whenever he’s on screen.

He also likes his anthracite-colored Nighthawk pistol, which goes with him everywhere. Most of the time, Fable sports a hunched-down expression on his face.

Anytime he disapproves of a circumstance or response, he lets out a disgusted “tsk,” which is far too frequent for a grimly stoic geezer like him.

Prolific killer’s busiest year

Fable’s usual targets include Yakuza, politicians, doctors, company presidents, and celebrities.

This is why the price is high and his boss tells him that only the concurrent month cost him hundreds of millions, that too on contacts and info brokers alone.

In the past six years that he’s been doing this job, the hitman has killed a total of 71 people. The current year was his busiest, with the most hits accomplished by far.

Moving to Osaka

So now has come the time to take a break for a while. He’s supposed to take a year off and lie low. He’s to move to Osaka with the total money he’s earned.

His superior has also arranged for a fake driver’s license and insurance cards. In Osaka, he is supposed to stay with a Yakuza group his boss has had connections with for a long time.

His boss thinks he needs to learn to start over in a new place, which he says will help him teach how to adapt, which further would help him become a better pro.

An unprecedented challenge

Accompanying Akira would be his assistant and driver, who would act as his sister, Yoko Sato.

his new chapter in the feared assassin’s life is much harder to get through than he initially expected, which becomes clear to him rather quickly.

Akira has a non-uniform temperament, and the place he’s supposed to lie low in without killing anyone or causing any trouble is more than difficult.

This is made even more difficult by the fact that his hideout is proffered by a Yakuza clan, a few members of which are already suspicious of the legendary killer.
