Ghost Stories is being produced by Tiger Baby and renowned Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala’s production house – RSVP Pictures. It will also be co-produced by Ashi Dua from Flying Unicorn Entertainment.

The short is created by four major directors from Bollywood.

Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap are reuniting for the second time for Netflix with Ghost Stories. Their previous project Lust Stories gained rapid popularity upon its release in 2018.

Varma is also preparing for Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy. The series is based on a book with the same name.

Varma will be playing the role of Rasheed – an Arabic teacher and a student at Bhrampur University. The series also stars Tabu and TVF’s hit show FLAMES lead Tanya Maniktala.

While A Suitable Boy is being created by BBC, it is in the talks of being picked up by a streaming platform for worldwide viewing.

The show will count as Varma’s international debut.

However, this will count as Kapoor’s debut in the digital world. The actress has one film under her wing as of now. However, she is set to be a part of three major Bollywood films soon.

Ghost Stories will serve as Zoya Akhtar’s seventh film in her career.

A release date for Ghost Stories has not been provided by Netflix India yet. You can catch the trailer for their previous project Lust Stories here:
