Troll is an upcoming Norwegian fantasy film that centers on a reawakened ancient troll (Norwegian folklore) and a group of disorderly heroes trying to contain it from wreaking havoc.

Troll is scheduled to release on Netflix on December 1, 2022.

Other details

Troll is created by a special team of Alicia Vikander and director Roar Uthaug. Both have worked together previously in Tomb Raider. Uthaug claims the movie is a manifestation of development spanning over two decades now. Makers of the Netflix film Cadaver, Espen Horn, and Kristian Strand Sinkerud are the executive producers of the film.


The teaser begins with a powerful introductory narration of the Norwegian mythical giant troll, followed by a brief glimpse at the look of the creature.
