Synopsis

“Beginning in a time of relative peace, we follow an ensemble cast of characters as they confront the re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.”

The Rings of Power is expected to be the most expensive TV show in history, with Amazon spending at least $1 billion on its production after winning the rights to the novels in a bidding war against Netflix. The series is expected to have at least 5 seasons.

The inhabitants of Middle Earth were expecting peace at the end of the war but much to their dismay and fear, a kind of evil is rising. All creatures, human, dwarves, and elves, must face the approaching darkness to defeat it but many challenges lie ahead.
