‘The Mandalorian’ on Disney+ follows the adventures of the titular bounty hunter from planet Mandalore and his companion Grogu (more popularly known as baby Yoda) across the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy.

Release date

The Mandalorian season 3 is set to stream on Disney+ in February 2023.

Synopsis

“The Mandalorian follows Din Djarin, a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. He is hired by remnant Imperial forces to retrieve the child Grogu, but instead goes on the run to protect the infant. 

“While looking to reunite Grogu with his kind, they are pursued by Moff Gideon, who wants to use Grogu’s connection to the Force. The duo then travel to Mandalore so Din Djarin can redeem himself for the transgression of removing his helmet.”

Other details

The show is set five years after the events of ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi’ (1983) and the fall of the Galactic Empire. The third season was announced by the company during its annual D23 Expo.

Teaser

We see Din return to Mandalore where he is berated for the appalling act of removing his helmet and is told that he is a Mandalorian no longer. Meanwhile, with Grogu still under his protection, he prepares for a new adventure with the child as more bounty hunters from his home planet join the fray.
