Sushmita Sen shared updates on the upcoming season of ‘Aarya’. Helmed by Ram Madhvani, the crime drama series is well acclaimed for its intriguing storyline and performances.
Sen went live on Instagram on June 25, along with her two daughters and her boyfriend. In an interactive session with her fans, she dropped hints about ‘Aarya’ Season 2.
While talking about the production progress of her show, Sen said:
“I am dying to tell you about Aarya. The last schedule is left, and it is not very long. So it should be done very very soon. The amount of love and appreciation you have given Aarya, when we come back you have to love season 2. For all good things, one has to wait.”
Sen portrays the titular role, a caring wife and mother who gets involved in the narcotics business. As she tries to protect her family, she even faces betrayal by her own.
Alongside Sen, Aarya’s season 1 starred Chandrachur Singh, Sikander Kher, Namit Das, Ankur Bhatia, Jayant Kriplani, among others.
Sushmita Sen won ‘Best Actor in a Drama Series’ at major award shows including Filmfare, Dada Saheb Phalke, Film Critics Guild, and Raj Kapoor Award for her role.
