Six midwestern men, survivors of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of Catholic priests and clergy, come together to direct a drama therapy inspired experiment to collectively work through their trauma. They create fictional scenes based on memories, dreams, and experiences in a radically collaborative filmmaking process. The film will explore – through their eyes – the church rituals, culture, and hierarchies that enabled the silence around their abuse.
