Priyanka Chopra confirms wrap on Russo Brothers’ ‘Citadel’

Priyanka Chopra has confirmed that filming for the upcoming Russo Brothers series, ‘Citadel‘ has been completed. The actress announced the news via an Instagram post.

In the caption she mentioned:

“And it’s finally a wrap! Thank you to everyone who made this mammoth task possible and fun. Thx Atlanta. See you next time. #Citadel”

The show is a collaborative venture between the Russos’ AGBO banner and Amazon Studios’ Midnight Radio. It also stars Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Roland Moller and Ashleigh Cummins in a pivotal roles.

Madden and Chopra were also seen filming in behind-the-scenes pictures for the show which became viral in March:

Announced in January 2020, Citadel is a sci-fi spy thriller which will comprise a main American series followed by several local language series belonging to the same universe, set in Italy, India, Spain and Mexico.

With the main show now in post production, the spin-offs will begin shooting soon. According to recent updates, the Indian series featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will go on floors in July 2022.

It will be produced by Amazon Studios and will be helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. The Italian version will be co-produced by Amazon Studios and Cattleya (Gomorra), which is a part of ITV Studios.
