Trailer

Anne describes how much Navy Captain Frederick Wentworth and Anne loved each other and are planning to marry. Her father, on the other hand, persuaded her to give him up. Her father and sisters are incredibly self-absorbed people. After eight years, Anne still fights to let go of her romantic feelings for the captain.

When he arrives, their reunion is hilarious, with Anne’s face splattered with jam. With the arrival of Mr. Elliot, another suitor for Anne’s hand, she must choose between taking a gamble on the future and giving a man from her past a second opportunity.
