Netflix’s The Claus Family to release globally in 2021

With Santa Claus in the backdrop, The Claus Family is set to narrate a fantasy Christmas story this holiday season.

In a list of Christmas movies Netflix releases every year, The Claus Family is the newest addition. It will tell the story of how Jules Claus witnessed his life change when he realized that his grandfather is the actual Santa Claus.

Directed by Matthias Temmermans, the film showcases how Jules fell back in love with the Christmas tradition after despising the festival for a year.

It will encompass Jules’s journey toward loving an occasion on which his father had once died. He will help his injured grandfather out and try to bring back the spirit of Christmas.

Produced by Dingie & Dutch FilmWorks, The Claus Family will see Jan Decleir, Bracha van Doesburgh, Mo Bakker, Pommelien Thijs, Josje Huisman and Eva Van der Gucht in pivotal roles.

The Claus Family will first stream in Netherlands and Belgium on December 7 and will release globally in 2021.
