Netflix has released a first-look video for the fifth season of its reality docuseries, Formula 1: Drive to Survive. The new installment will take viewers behind the scenes of the 2022 F1 season which saw Oracle Red Bull Racing win both the Driver’s and Constructor’s championships.
The video showcases snippets from major moments of the season, and also touches upon the biggest overhaul in regulations since the sport’s inception. There is also a look at the brand-new cars which sported fresh liveries, upgraded wings, bigger tires, and much more according to the updated rules.
Furthermore, after choosing to sit out of the previous season due to alleged exaggeration of events and rivalries, Two-time World Champion Max Verstappen returns to Netflix’s interview chair for the fifth installment.
Season 5 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive will premiere exclusively on the streamer on February 24, 2023.
