Hoichoi’s ‘Murder in the Hills’ uncovers seedy underbelly of Darjeeling

Hoichoi has released the official trailer for its upcoming web series, ‘Murder in the Hills’. The mystery drama will be available on the streamer from July 23.

Directed by Anjan Dutt, ‘Murder in the Hills’ is a web series set in Darjeeling, which is regarded as the actor-director’s second home. It’s a fictitious story concerning the death of a Bengali cinema star in the 1990s in Darjeeling’s underbelly.

The show features Arjun Chakraborty, Rajdeep Gupta, Sourav Chakraborty, Anindita Bose, Suprovat Das, Sandipta Sen and Rajat Ganguly among others. 

‘Murder in the Hills’ is Dutt’s web series directorial debut and also features him in a pivotal role.

Chakrabarty portrays an investigative journalist who is trying to figure out what he feels is premeditated murder. Sheela, played by Bose, is a real, passionate, and empathic character.

Produced by SVF, the web series’ music is composed by Neel Dutt.
