The makers have spent over a year planning a sensible and perfect end to the series. Money Heist 5 will be shot across Spain, Denmark and Portugal.

Álex Pina, the show’s producer, said:

“We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”

There are some new faces on the sets of La Casa de Papel with Pina confirming to Entertainment Weekly that Miguel Ángel Silvestre will join the cast too. During the previous season, we saw Gandía being dominated by the gang. Yet it’s not known if he’s alive or dead and many wonder whether Miguel is the new villain.
