Tokyo and Berlin start shooting for Money Heist 5

The makers of Money Heist recently announced that season 5 is going to be the final season. The cast is back to filming the Spanish drama for the last time.

Úrsula Corberó, who plays Tokyo, took to social media to announce her arrival on set.  Earlier Professor aka Alvaro Morte confirmed that he has made his way back to the sets of the show (aka La Casa de Papel) to shoot the new season.

Berlin (Pedro Alonso) also shared a picture with Patrick Criado, announcing him as a part of the series.

The makers have spent over a year planning a sensible and perfect end to the series. Money Heist 5 will be shot across Spain, Denmark and Portugal.

Álex Pina, the show’s producer, said:

“We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”

There are some new faces on the sets of La Casa de Papel with Pina confirming to Entertainment Weekly that Miguel Ángel Silvestre will join the cast too. During the previous season, we saw Gandía being dominated by the gang. Yet it’s not known if he’s alive or dead and many wonder whether Miguel is the new villain.
