Money Heist season 4 release date announced

Netflix has announced the release date for part four of their explosive show Money Heist.

The announcement comes in the form of a teaser of the much-loved Spanish series.

The thriller that is originally titled La Casa de Papel (LCDP) broke Netflix records by gaining a viewership of over 34 million times for its third season.

This also made LCDP the most popular non-English speaking show on the streaming giant.

The official handle of LCDP took to Twitter to make the announcement:

The teaser features some of the most iconic characters of the show, including Nairobi (Alba Flores), who was shot by a sniper in the finale of season 3.

Season 3 of the show came out earlier this year on July 19th.

The previous season ended with a cliffhanger where Professor a.k.a. Sergio Marquina (Alvaro Morte) thinks his girlfriend Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituño) is shot dead.

Money Heist has been welcomed by audiences and critics alike. The show was coveted with “Best Drama” at the International Emmy Awards 2018.

After the widespread success of the Spanish show, there were talks about creating a Bollywood version of the same. However, Shah Rukh Khan later denied the rumours himself.

Part four of the thrilling series will be out on April 3, 2020. Until then, you can catch a recap of the first couple of seasons here:
