After the success of the Code M by Ekta Kapoor, the second season was announced on Army Day. Jennifer Winget will reprise the lead role of Major Monica Mehra in the web series. The shooting of the second season will begin soon.
Kapoor recently shared the trailer of the second season on Twitter and revealed the return of Major Mehra:
The cast also includes Rajat Kapoor, Seema Biswas and Tanuj Virwani.
In the first season, Mehra solves the death case of an army officer and two militant suspects who were killed in an encounter. But as Monica starts with the investigation, she finds out a code which can send ripples through the entire Indian Army.
Code M is created by Juggernaut Productions for the OTT platforms ALTBalaji and ZEE5. It is directed by Akshay Choubey and produced by Samar Khan and Akansha Shukla.
