Hostel Daze: TVF Kota Factory makers create new series with Prime Video

Saurabh Khanna, Sameer Saxena and Raghav Subbu have created a new web series titled Hostel Daze with Amazon Prime Video. The men responsible for TVF’s successful series Kota Factory made this public in a YouTube video.

They mentioned that after showcasing the struggles to get into an esteemed engineering college in Kota Factory, they wanted to address the hostel life of engineers.

Viewers can expect real and relatable portrayals of everything that goes on within these hostels. According to the makers: “It’s not a slice of life, it’s the whole cake.”

The show, however, stands the risk of being directly compared to Nitesh Tiwari’s film Chhichhore, which was also along similar lines.

Moreover, unlike TVF’s previous shows, Hostel Daze will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video owing to a brand new collaboration. Check out the announcement video below:

Amazon Prime Video also released 30-second character introductions on their Facebook page:

Rupesh Bhati, Mechanical Engineering

Chirag Bansal, Computer Science

Ankit Pandey, Civil Engineering

Jatin, Agricultural Engineering

The show will start streaming on 13 December 2019 on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s the full trailer:
