Jeremy Renner, the lead actor, famous as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the MCU, has shared a photo from the sets of the upcoming Disney+ web series, ‘Hawkeye’. The S.H.I.E.L.D batch engraved on Renner’s quiver can be seen in the photo. This reveals that the archer will re-join the secret organisation, of which he was a member earlier.
Renner’s photo on social media has revealed nothing more than the association of his character with the S.H.I.E.L.D, and has kept the fans guessing.
Hawkeye will be one of the multiple Marvel web-series to stream on Disney+. The show will star Hailee Steinfeld as Hawkeye’s protégé, Kate Bishop. The series is directed by Amber Finlayson, Katie Ellwood and Rhys Thom.
The post-production for the show was completed in 2020, and it was to release in the same year. The release of the web series, however, has been postponed due to the pandemic. It will release later this year, or in early 2022.
