Hasan Minhaj’s ‘The King’s Jester’ streams on Netflix from October 4

Comedian Hasan Minhaj will be returning to Netflix with a brand-new comedy special titled ‘The King’s Jester’. It streams worldwide from October 4.

Minhaj already has a special on the platform: ‘Homecoming King’. This will be his second comedy special with Netflix.

Apart from these, the comedian is known for hosting Patriot Act, a political satire show that delved into diverse topics ranging from American taxes to Indian elections. The show is the recipient of a Peabody Award as well as an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Motion Design’.

‘The King’s Jester’ tour is ongoing, with Minhaj set to perform in Paris on September 22 and twice on September 24 in London’s Hackney Empire.

Previously, he was a correspondent at ‘The Daily Show’ from 2014-2018 and served as the speaker at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2017.

Minhaj began playing the recurring character of journalist Eric Nomani in the second season of the Apple TV+ series ‘The Morning Show’.
