Netflix has announced that artwork and sculptures from its upcoming film, ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’, will be featured at the Paris Cinema Club gallery from October 21 to December 18, 2022, in association with Art Ludique.
The free exhibition will be available on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will feature original film sculptures (about thirty centimeters high) which have been sculpted by hand.
Each of their body parts, hands, heads and facial expressions were expertly brought to life for the cameras by groups of talented artists and animators. These pieces have been brought in from Portland, Oregon, where the filming took place.
‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’ is the Academy Award winning director’s unique take on the classic tale and has been shot entirely in stop-motion.
The film, which is co-directed with Mark Gustafson, will released on Netflix on December 9.
