Netflix’s ‘Black Samurai’ onboards Chad Stahelski & Leigh Dana Jackson

Netflix has hired Chad Stahelski & Leigh Dana Jackson to be a part of its upcoming film, ‘Black Samurai’. It will be based on the eponymous novel series by thriller writer Marc Olden.

Stahelski (John Wick franchise) will direct the film and Jackson (Raising Dion) will fill in the writer’s boots. Stahelski will also produce ;Black Samurai’ alongside Jason Spitz, and Alex Young for 87Eleven Entertainment; John Schoenfelder and Russell Ackerman for Addictive Pictures.

These books by Olden follow Robert Sand, an American soldier in Japan who learns the ways of the most powerful martial arts, and becomes The Black Samurai. He then embarks on a mission to stop dangerous forces who threaten everything he holds dear.

No further details have been revealed about the project yet.
