Synopsis

The series is based on the bestselling novels by Cecily von Ziegesar. It is also a reboot of the series with the same name which aired from 2007 to 2012 on The CW.

There seems to be tension between Obie and Zoya, and the latter says that her sister means nothing to her, after her boyfriend’s disloyalty.
The trailer hints at Zoya finding out that Obie is cheating on her with her sister. Obie and Julien are seen talking where he says, “Friends don’t do what we did”. Things also seem complicated with Audrey, Max, and Aki. Furthermore, Gossip Girl as an entity seems to have gained a larger social media presence.
