Prominent rapper Divine’s brand-new rap Fauj Ki Dahaad for AltBalaji and ZEE5’s Jennifer Winget starrer Code M has been released.
The series revolves around Major Monica Mehra, a defence lawyer, who stumbles upon a conspiracy during her investigation of an army encounter case.
The rap is a celebration of the Indian military, and a warning for perpetrators to be afraid of, as the rapper puts it, “fauj ki dahaad”.
Divine is one of the most prolific rappers of the country. He started from humble beginnings but rose to fame following the release of his track, Yeh Mera Bombay in 2014.
He delivered some of the biggest hits in 2019 with Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy, including Sher Aaya Sher and Azadi. He also penned Apna Time Aayega and Doori, which were rapped by Singh.
Code M is set to start streaming on 15 January.
