‘Reality Bites’ fame, Ethan Hawke has been signed to play a pivotal part in Marvel Studio’s upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Moon Knight’.
Hawke will be seen essaying the role of an antagonist in the series. The series will star Oscar Isaac in the lead and ‘Ramy’ fame, May Calamawy.
The production of the show will begin in March in Budapest and it will stream on Disney+ in 2022.
Moon Knight is a fictional superhero comic series published by Marvel Comics. It was created by writer Douglas Moench and artist Don Perlin.
Moon Knight has had come in many manifestations since its initial release in 1975. The protagonist has been seen as ex-Marine-turned-mercenary with multiple alter egos, as a person with metaphysical powers from Egyptian moon god, Khonshu, and most recently as a consultant.
One thing which stands out across manifestations is the protagonist’s dealing with mental illness.
