Disenchanted is an American live-action fantasy romantic comedy and a sequel of the 2007 film Enchanted. Years after her happily ever after, Giselle begins to question her bliss, unintentionally flipping the lives of people in the real world and Andalasia.

Release Date

Disenchanted is going to premiere on Disney+ on November 18.

Synopsis

“Fifteen years after her happily ever after, Giselle, Robert, and Morgan move to a new house in the suburb of Monroeville. The community is overseen by Malvina Monroe, who has nefarious intentions for the family. When problems arise, Giselle wishes that their lives were the perfect fairy tale. The spell backfires, with Giselle rushing to save her family and her homeland of the Kingdom of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight”

Other details

The film has been in development since early 2010 and most of the original cast is coming back. Maya Rudolph is cast to play the villain.

Giselle and Robert are happy together and have decided to go to Monroeville with their families to embark on a new journey. However, the new house and its seller are not without problems. As she faces real-life problems, Giselle realises that this world is very different from her home Andalasia and makes a wish, which changes the whole course of this world, merging it with a fairytale.
