Synopsis
“The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.”

Yoh Yoshinari is the anime’s character designer and animation director. The creative director is Hiromi Wakabayashi. The anime is created by Studio Trigger and CD PROJEKT RED; and is based on the game, Cyberpunk 2077.
Teaser
An anxious street kid in the city of the future taps his leg repeatedly. In order to stay alive, he becomes an edgerunner. The Maelstrom gang is one of Night City’s numerous gangs, and the characters begin to engage in serious anime violence.

David shares something about his personal life with Lucy. He is then introduced to the chaotic world of Night City as the eccentricities of being an Edgerunner are spelt out for him.
