Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare season 2: Zakir Khan’s original returns to Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has announced four new shows featuring comedian Zakir Khan, including the second season of the 2018 comedy, Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare.

The other three shows are new stand up specials including last year’s Tathastu which has been acquired by the platform.

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare deals with a regular guy from Indore, Rohit Pathak (Khan), who goes about his daily life which is full of aspirations but he’s still jobless.

The official description reads:

Zakir Khan slips into the shoes of Rohit Pathak, aka Ronny Bhaiya, who is always seen hanging around with his two best friends Anwar and Kranti who consider him their leader. Ronny is in love with Avantika but she is too busy obsessing about her ex to notice his feelings. On the other hand, his family is concerned about his future and is dismayed at his lack of interest in studying or getting a job. But Ronny has a trick up his sleeve that’s making life much easier for him.”

Season 1 of the web series also starred Vyom Sharma, Kumar Varun, and was directed by Vikas Chandra.

In the announcement video, Khan explains that the second season had almost wrapped up shooting as the country went into lockdown, and just a few key sequences remain to be filmed.
