ZEE5 has introduced their latest offering to the audience with a new trailer. It is an original thriller film titled, Ateet and stars Rajeev Khandelwal, Priyamani Raj and Sanjay Suri.
The official log line reads:
When Captain Ateet Rana goes missing and is declared dead by the army, his colleague Vishwa Karma steps forward to marry Ateet’s wife and take care of his daughter. Things take an unexpected turn when Ateet returns after a decade to reclaim his family.
The trailer has a mysterious and eerie vibe to it. The film is shown to be set in a hill station complete with lush green woods and foggy landscapes.
The trailer goes a step beyond the official description and adds a horror element to the statement, “Ateet returns after a decade to reclaim his family“. There are ghostly apparitions and people dying as things start getting out of hand.
The ZEE5 original film promises a potentially spine chilling experience with just the right amount of thrill and horror waiting to be witnesses. It also focuses on the emotional aspect and showcases a family torn by the aftermath of a war.
Eventually, it about is a choice between one’s present or past.
The film has been directed by Tanuj Bhramar and is set to premiere on ZEE5 on April 21.
