ZEE’s streaming platform has launched a new OTT service for kids. Branded as ZEE5 Kids, the service will give the little ones access to over 4000 hours of content to enjoy. Moreover, the service is free to use.
ZEE5 Kids will release exclusive digital shows titled Gadget Guru, Guddu and Bapu in days to come. The content library will be spread across 9 languages- Hindi, Tamil, English, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam and Bhojpuri.
Aparna Acharekar, programming head at ZEE5 said, “The product is deliberated to augment the intellectual abilities of children in a FUN learning way by providing bespoke content ranging from shows, movies, reality and DIY (do-it-yourself) shows to nursery rhymes in 9 languages and across genres.
She added, “The framework has been securely curated keeping in perspective the use of devices and exposure to unlimited information that kids have these days with digital platforms. We are certain that through ZEE5 KIDS we will be able to inculcate the habit of #NonStopBachFUN amongst audiences across demographics.”
The content within this service will be a combination of exclusive and acquired. ZEE has managed to bring production houses Lionsgate and Cosmos Maya on board to add to their library.
