The Voot Original series ‘Asur’ has begun shooting for its new season. The cast and crew are soon going to wrap the first schedule and will soon start filming the second schedule. It will be shot in Varanasi, New Dehli and Manali.
Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti are set to reprise their roles for ‘Asur’ season two.
While Sobti won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Asian TV awards, Oni Sen won Best Director. Apart from Warsi and Sobti, Ridhi Dogra and Anupriya Goenka will feature this season, along with some new faces.
Talking about the second season, Sobti expressed:
“We know the mammoth importance of following up a hit season with a better one. We understand that the audience is anticipating a great show and the whole team is mentally and physically aligned to the goal. Honestly, I’m excited to work on the show but even more excited to see how we fare.”
“As we start shooting again, the entire team is motivated and is working extremely hard to take season 2 to the next level. When you have a successful first season, there is always a sense of pressure and nervousness. But that is the best kind of pressure, which keeps you motivated to deliver better and bring out the best in all of us.”
While the previous season was a massive hit among the audience, season two will look to build on the captivating tale that left viewers on the edge of their seats.
